Pay your bill online
As a courtesy, Northeast Regional Medical Center will submit bills to your insurance company and will do everything possible to expedite your claim. You should remember, however, that your policy is a contract between you and your insurance carrier, and that you have the final responsibility for payment of your Northeast bill.
If you have certain tests or treatments performed while here, you may receive separate bills from physicians you may not have seen in person. These bills are for professional services rendered by these physicians in diagnosing and interpreting test results while you were a patient. For example, if your physician ordered an x-ray during your stay, a radiologist will interpret your x-ray films. That radiologist will send you a separate bill for his or her work. Additionally, radiologists, pathologists (who read and interpret lab test results), cardiologists (who read and interpret heart and vascular test results) and anesthesiologists (who administer anesthesia while you're in surgery) are among the other specialists from whom you may receive a separate bill.
Our Patient Accounts staff is always willing to help you read and understand your bill. If you have any questions about your bill, call our Patient Accounts staff at (660) 785-1043.
