Residency Program
    Jonathan Cleaver, DO Dermatology

Bryan Stringham, Otolaryngology

facial Plastic surgery Resident

Carrie Peecher, Cheif Family Medicine Resident

Thanks to this program I feel better prepared than other residents equal to my year from other programs. The hands on that we get here is invaluable. Other facilities don't give as much hands on, because there may be more residents or they may not be allowed to do as much.

I was on call at another facility once and I had three or four different dealings with trachs and airways and handled them very comfortably with the training I had had here and was commended by the attendings there and they said “You basically saved this guy's life.” Because of my training here, I already felt comfortable with it. They didn't expect anything from me and they were pleasantly surprised that I could handle about everything. That was my third year.

Our doctors here are great. Doctor Burchett is classic trained, he did a fellowship in cosmetics and that brings a lot to our practice. He is very detailed oriented about how we do things like our closures, so that it is a true plastic closure. And when I've gone and done closures in other facilities I get compliments right and left for the quality and that it is exactly how it should look. Our other doctor, Doctor Kemp, is otology trained and he brings some great cases here as well.

Northeast is family friendly. I'm married and have four kids. Any residency is a stressful program but ours looks at the family and understands that you have other obligations. We're like family, a great team. I remember when I first started I went out with my kids to a movie with my attending and his kids, we watched Star Wars. We really get along here at Northeast.
