How do I become a Volunteer
at Northeast Regional Medical Center?

  1. Complete the Volunteer Services Application and turn it into the Volunteer Office in the Main Lobby of the Medical Center.
  2. Schedule and complete an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator at Northeast Regional Medical Center.
  3. Ask a family friend, professor, minister, etc. to submit a letter of recommendation to be attached to your Volunteer Services Application.  Your reference should be easy to contact if needed.  The letter may be mailed, fax or e-mailed to the contact listed below.
  4. Complete the 3 to 4 hour New Volunteer Orientation offered in conjunction with New Employee Orientation every other Thursday morning at the Medical Center. (Other times and dates are available for orientation by appointment)
  5. Complete 1 hour Volunteer Orientation with the Volunteer Coordinator.  Orientation is given by appointment.  You will need to bring these items to the Volunteer Orientation:
  • Packet from New Volunteer Orientation
  • Original Social Security Card (we need this to complete the  background checks that we do on all volunteers)
  • If you have had a recent TB test please bring the results with you, if not we will provide a TB test for all new Volunteers.
