How do I become a Volunteer
at Northeast Regional Medical Center?
- Complete the Volunteer Services Application and turn it into the Volunteer Office in the Main Lobby of the Medical Center.
- Schedule and complete an interview with the Volunteer Coordinator at Northeast Regional Medical Center.
- Ask a family friend, professor, minister, etc. to submit a letter of recommendation to be attached to your Volunteer Services Application. Your reference should be easy to contact if needed. The letter may be mailed, fax or e-mailed to the contact listed below.
- Complete the 3 to 4 hour New Volunteer Orientation offered in conjunction with New Employee Orientation every other Thursday morning at the Medical Center. (Other times and dates are available for orientation by appointment)
- Complete 1 hour Volunteer Orientation with the Volunteer Coordinator. Orientation is given by appointment. You will need to bring these items to the Volunteer Orientation:
- Packet from New Volunteer Orientation
- Original Social Security Card (we need this to complete the background checks that we do on all volunteers)
- If you have had a recent TB test please bring the results with you, if not we will provide a TB test for all new Volunteers.
