Volunteer ideas.

All Around Awesome Volunteers is a general all around helper in the hospital and what we think of our volunteers.
Chaplain Volunteers are typically pastors in town who come to learn more about and actually practice spiritual/pastoral care.
Department Volunteers help in the needs of the day in departments throughout the hospital.
Director Assistant Volunteers are students from Truman State University or ATSU who want to learn about healthcare administration in a healthcare environment.
Emergency Room Volunteers support patients and families in the Emergency Departments, and also assist staff by running errands and helping with a variety of tasks.
Health and Fitness Volunteers help former patients in our Health and Fitness facility help set and accomplish their desired goals.
Information Desk Volunteers welcome everyone into the hospital and guide people to proper locations within the hospital.
Unit Host Volunteers provide reading material, games, and a listening ear to patients and their families.
Waiting Room Host Volunteers support the information desk team and the waiting rooms of the hospital by delivering items to patients and care to the waiting rooms.

If you want to work with big hearted people who volunteer just for the love of helping others, come and join us. There are lots of needs, and plenty of potential to make someone's day a brighter place.
