As the birthplace of osteopathic medicine, Kirksville, Missouri bears a long and rich tradition as a medical community. Northeast Regional Medical Center continues that tradition by providing post-graduate education for talented physicians through our Intern and Residency Program.

Our Program

We offer the traditional rotating internship and a variety of specialty internships including special emphasis anesthesiology, special emphasis family practice, tracking internal medicine and tracking otolaryngology/fps. 

Northeast has an aggressive, didactic program with two lectures daily. The daily noon lectures follow a systems approach.We also have post-graduate residencies in anesthesiology, dermatology, family practice, family practice/ONM, internal medicine, neuromusculoskeletal medicine, otolaryngology/fps and general surgery.
