Residency Requirements
The selection process for residency into our program is as follows:
- Applicant must be a graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine.
- Applicant must have completed an AOA-approved internship
- Application for residency is obtained from and submitted to the Department of Medical Education at Northeast.
- When application is complete, the applicant is contacted by the Department of Medical Education to schedule an interview.
- Applicant interviews are conducted by one or more of the following:
- Director of Medical Education
- Members of the Education Committee
- Program Director and/or teaching physicians from that discipline
- Members of the current House Staff.

Internship Requirements

Applicant must be a graduate of an AOA accredited college of osteopathic medicine.

Application for internship is obtained from and submitted to the Department of Medical Education at Northeast.

When application is complete, the applicant is contacted by the Department of Medical Education to schedule an interview.

One or more of the following conducts applicant interviews:

Director of Medical Education

Members of the Education Committee

Members of the current House Staff.

Each interviewer completes an evaluation form provided by the Department of Medical Education, which results in a numerical score.

Applicants are ranked according to their individual numerical scores.
