Advancements
New Cath Lab
Our new heart catheterization lab is an advanced tool for diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions. This powerful technology allows us to see inside your heart and vascular system to detect and treat blockages, genetic disorders, deformations and other critical issues. This is done from just a small incision and local anesthesia.
New Doctors
We have doubled our capacity, we now have two staff cardiologists. Dr. Valencia and Dr. Nissenbaum also bring new cardiac specializations to Northeast Regional. They are trained in heart and vascular interventional surgical treatments.
Renovated Facilities
The Heart Center is newly renovated and updated. We have upgraded equipment and have beautiful examination rooms where we can take care of your routine check-ups and also perform advanced procedures.

Your Cardiologist
Dr. Valencia and Dr. Nissenbaum are here to be your cardiologist, to give you routine check-ups, diagnose problems, monitor your medications, and create treatment plans for you. They have outpatient clinics located at the Northeast Regional Heart Center and are eager to get to know and help you.
Emergencies:
If you have chest pains call 911 and use the ambulance to get to our Emergency Room. National standards say you have 90 minutes to reestablish blood flow to potentially save your life and heart. We are an accredited Chest Pain Center, which means we met nationally recognized criteria for heart attack treatment. Our cath lab and interventional cardiologists will be able to provide advanced diagnosis and treatment options. Plus in an emergency, you could be treated by doctors who know you and your conditions personally. Northeast is an important part of your heart's health.
