
Northeast Regional Medical Center provides hundreds of surgical procedures to thousands of patients every year. Our highly trained surgical nursing and support staff work side-by-side with talented teams of surgeons and anesthesiologists every day, using the latest in medical technology along with tried-and-true surgical methods. We perform surgery on inpatients and same-day surgery on an outpatient basis.
If you are scheduled for surgery at Northeast Regional Medical Center, following are some guidelines to help you through the process.
What to bring
Please have these items on hand when you arrive for registration:
- Drivers License
- Insurance card(s)
- Medicare Card and/or Medicaid Card
- Medications you are currently taking
Insurance Pre-certification
Your insurance carrier may require pre-certification for your test or procedure. If pre-certification is required, we suggest that you work with your physician’s office to see that it is obtained prior to the date of your procedure, otherwise,
you may be responsible for payment.
