About the Sponsoring Institution
ATSU-KCOM is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) as an institutional sponsor dedicated to advancing osteopathic medical education.
Through a consortium of teaching hospitals, colleges, universities and physicians, ATSU-KCOM provides high-quality osteopathic principles education and supports the development of osteopathic competencies across the continuum of graduate medical education. ATSU-KCOM collaborates with other colleges of osteopathic medicine to develop evaluation tools, curricula and other key components that support high-quality graduate medical education and help cultivate physicians who demonstrate compassion, integrity and clinical excellence.
In addition, the Sponsoring Institution works with partners to develop and deliver robust educational resources that reinforce osteopathic principles and practice, advance osteopathic manipulative treatment competency and promote the professional development of residents and teaching physicians.
