Directors and Employee of 2021 Announced at Northeast Regional Medical Center

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. (April 28, 2022) – Northeast Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Anthony Keene recently announced the 2021 Directors and Employee of the Year: Brooke Marvin, emergency department director, and Annie Tate, cardiac services manager, were recognized as clinical directors of 2021; Brad Darr, health information management director, was named the 2021 non-clinical director of the year; and Heather Kincannon, radiology tech, was named 2021 employee of the year.
An employee since October 2002, Kincannon is responsible for providing patient care services in the NRMC radiology department.
“Heather is always willing to fill shifts when needed,” her nomination form stated. “She recently missed a family event to pick up a critical shift on short notice. She is reliable and she knows her patients and remembers their needs.”
Marvin has been at NRMC since June 2016. In her current role, Marvin plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the care and staffing of the NRMC emergency department. She works in conjunction with the ER medical director and the physician group to improve the overall patient experience.
“Brooke is a problem solver and looks at issues with the mindset of how can we improve and involves her team when working to find solutions,” her nomination form stated.
Tate has been at NRMC since February 2015. In addition to her role as cardiology services manager, she is the trauma coordinator, stroke coordinator, chest pain/STEMI coordinator, and EMS liaison.
“Annie has brought our NRMC cardiology program back at full steam,” her nomination form stated. “She not only cares about the growth and success of her service line, but the hospital as a whole. We are extremely grateful for the passion that Annie has for NRMC.”
Darr began his career at NRMC in March 1973. In his current role, Darr leads the health information management department.
According to his nomination form, “Brad always goes above and beyond; he’s more than a director. He’s a friend and someone you can count on.”
