Kirksville, MO - Northeast Regional Medical Center (NRMC) announced that Tracy Novinger, FNP-C, is now seeing patients at Northeast Regional Heart Center.
Born and raised in Green City, Novinger has spent the last 20 years in Kirksville. “My decision to become a nurse practitioner and practice near my hometown allows me to care for the people who helped shape who I am-my neighbors, friends and families who make this community home,” shared Novinger. “Serving the place I call home is both a privilege and a purpose."
Novinger started her healthcare career as a registered nurse at NRMC in 2000. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing and family nurse practitioner certification at Chamberlain University while continuing to provide care in the community, both at NRMC and at local clinics. Novinger’s practice will center on a wide range of general cardiology treatments, with a focus on preventative and follow up care for heart failure, hypertension, atrial fibrillation and chest pain. Novinger also provides heart healthy lifestyle and smoking cessation counseling. While Novinger is seeing patients at Northeast Regional Heart Center, you will also see her in the hospital checking in on patients.
“We are extremely pleased to have Tracy join us at NRMC,” said Dwayne Blaylock, interim chief executive officer. “She is passionate about serving her community with skill and compassion and is dedicated to helping patients achieve a healthier lifestyle.”
Novinger is accepting new patients at Northeast Regional Heart Center, located on the third floor of the Gutensohn Clinic at 800 W. Jefferson Street in Kirksville. To make an appointment call (660) 785-1991 or visit NortheastSpecialtyGroup.com.
