Northeast Regional Medical Center Announces the Addition of Rolena Stephenson and John Grossnickle to Board of Directors

Kirksville, MO, July 11, 2023 – Dr. Rolena Stephenson and John Grossnickle were recently appointed to the Northeast Regional Medical Center Board of Directors.
“Northeast Regional Medical Center is extremely fortunate to have two such excellent members added to our board,” said Dwayne Blaylock, NRMC's interim chief executive officer. “Their experience in business and healthcare will be extremely helpful as we continue our work to provide excellent healthcare services to the people of Northeast Missouri.”

John Andrew Grossnickle is following in a long line of family service to Northeast Regional Medical Center. His grandfather, Shag Grossnickle, served over 40 years on the NRMC board, and John’s father, John Ben Grossnickle, followed his own father serving on the board.
A lifelong resident of Kirksville, Grossnickle attended the Kirksville public schools and completed his education at Moberly Area Community College and Columbia College. He has spent his career in banking starting at Bank Midwest and is currently the Chief Lending Officer at Alliant Bank in Kirksville. Grossnickle is also licensed to sell insurance and stays active in the family insurance business. He is a member of Kiwanis, Masonic Mason of Adair Lodge #366, President of Malibu Shores Homeowners Association at the Lake of the Ozarks and a past member of the Adair County Family YMCA board of directors.
“I feel extremely honored to follow both my grandfather and father as a board member for Northeast Regional Medical Center,” said Mr. Grossnickle. “This hospital has been a part of our family since I can remember and our multigenerational commitment to providing healthcare to the people of Northeast Missouri will also continue.”
