Northeast Regional Medical Center Promotes Homegrown Leader to Human Resources Director

KIRKSVILLE, MO - Northeast Regional Medical Center (NRMC) has promoted long-time team member Marilyn Blickhan to the position of director of human resources. Blickhan steps into this leadership role with deep organizational experience and a strong commitment to the NRMC community.

Blickhan has built a rewarding, broad career at NRMC since 1994 when she first joined the admissions department. In 1996, she transferred to the business office as a Medicare biller before joining the human resources department as HR office coordinator in January 2000.

Throughout her 32-plus years at the hospital, she has witnessed continual evolution, including updates to facilities, processes, leadership and community outreach. Reflecting on her journey with NRMC, Blickhan shared, “The hospital has always felt like a second home and family, marked by shared experiences, hard work and mutual support through every high and low over the decades.”

Dwayne Blaylock, interim chief executive officer at NRMC shared, “We are grateful for the dedication and work ethic Marilyn has provided over the years. She is a valued team member and it is always special when a long-term community member is able to rise through the ranks.”
